Disabilty Fashion Week
5th August Chelmsford, UK: Disability Fashion Week. Models of all abilities take to the Catwalk to show off Several Designer Collections, Disability Fashion Week, founded in 2016 to revolutionise the way people see fashion. Fashion is for everyone, even the disabled. The 2nd Disability Fashion Week Show is taking place tonight Saturday 5th August at Chelmsford Racecourse. Disability Fashion week was founded by Jordan Jervis, himself in a wheelchair, diagnosed with Ataxia just two years ago which spurred him on further to get this show together. Jordan had great difficulties getting into the fashion industry before his disability struck. Once diagnosed he saw this great opportunity to put Fashion for All to the fore and demonstrate that less abled people still take pride in their attire and have money to spend.
Many models, both able and disabled are taking to the Catwalk. The Paralympian Anne Wafula Strike MBE, is taking part in the show.
The main sponsor is the David Randal Foundation.
